Reconstructed from discarded wooden materials found at my home, this work installed a series of intersecting wooden pillars within a decommissioned heliport. Each structure symbolized a moment of open encounter. Integrated into the everyday context of the site, these installations blurred the boundary between function and symbolism, shifting the essence of the artwork from the object itself to the relational phenomena it catalyzed.
Through the expressions and dialogues that emerged, we became aware of the power of encounters in which people meet anew as pure beings.
This experience redirected my interest toward phenomena that arise not from viewing exhibited objects, but from being in a space. Unlike prestructured relationships, encounters that embrace chance and the unknown suggest practical clues toward reconstructing the increasingly fragile “relationships” in contemporary society.
